Yes. Our pet turf is manufactured lead-free and RoHS-compliant, with no pesticides and no mud, and test documentation is arranged per order against the standard your market requires. The drainage-oriented backing lets urine and rinse water pass through rather than pooling on the surface.

Solid waste is picked up as normal; urine drains through the perforated backing to the permeable sub-base. Hose the area down periodically, and for odour an occasional rinse with an enzyme cleaner or a diluted vinegar solution keeps it fresh.

10-15 mm soft-touch turf is the usual choice for pets: short dense piles rinse easily and dry quickly. Longer ornamental piles hold moisture and are harder to keep hygienic in high-traffic dog areas.

Yes. Our pet products use a perforated backing so water passes straight through. Drainage in service depends as much on a permeable sub-base as on the turf itself, so base preparation matters; the pet and lawn ranges are built for free drainage rather than water retention.

Installed correctly, with edges secured and a compacted sub-base, pet turf resists digging and holds up to regular use. The yarn is UV-stabilised so colour and resilience last outdoors; matching the density to the traffic level is the single biggest factor in wear.

Like any surface in direct summer sun it can warm up. A quick rinse cools it immediately, and shade over part of the area helps. Lighter yarn colours and good airflow reduce heat build-up.

Pet areas typically use minimal infill, or an antimicrobial infill where odour control is a priority. Our pet range is designed around drainage-oriented backing; we advise on the infill approach per project at quote stage.
